Oh, Happy Day!
Isn’t it awesome (using the word as it originally was defined) when something happens at exactly the right time? Isn’t it even more amazing when you SEE it?
At the pace most of us move it’s easy to miss a GREAT BIG ROAD SIGN telling exactly what to do, where to go, how to get out of something, how to move on. Luckily I have a group of wonderful friends surrounding me who listen to me and then feed my own words back to me so I can understand what I am really saying.
Last week – and especially on Friday (GOOD Friday) – proved to bring that lesson home. I have been working, doing, trying to make it with a specific training program that just was making me miserable. I finally took my own advice (after it was fed back to me) and owned up to how unhappy I was. AND I decided to move on … not quit but see that this was not the right FIT for me. So it’s still an “F” word but it’s not ‘failure” it’s bad “fit” … and now the search is on.
I am giving myself some time to gain perspective on the 2.5 years I have been with Handel. I will be going to NYC for a weekend of final study, a parting gift from them. But I am searching for another avenue to becoming a Life Coach.
SO – my lesson is one of maintaining balance, checking in with how each piece of your life does or doesn’t fit, and then investigating how you can change it up. I LOVE my yearbook life. I LOVED my teaching life. I believe that I have excelled in both. I want to take those skills and apply them as Randy Stano and I grow MyMediaSeminars into a business that offers a bridge between now and what’s possible. I was to BE there for each of my yearbook advisers and staffs.
AND I KNOW I CAN!!! How amazing that this happened over Easter / Passover Weekend! Have a wonderful week – hope to catch up with you soon!
